The FDIBA conference is the biannual scientific gathering of the Faculty of German Engineering and Economics Education (FDIBA) at the Technical University of Sofia. The conference presents the latest achievements in the fields taught at the Faculty:
- Mechanical engineering
- Computer and Information Science
- Economics and management
The conference was established in 2006. It is a bilingual event, accepting papers both in English and German, with a title and abstract in both languages. Since 2017 the conference provides free and unlimited access to all publications. It is registered in the ISSN-supported database for open access journals ROAD.
The conference is peer-reviewed. The papers should be submitted in advance to the organizing committee via the web portal. Each paper is evaluated by at least one reviewer. The final acceptance decision is taken by the Program Committee, who serves as an editor’s board for the proceedings.
The conference is organized in cooperation with the partner Universities of the FDIBA:

- Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg
The conference receives financial support by the German Academic Exchange Office DAAD.
